BioDeck Architectural Decking – Concealed Fixings
BioDeck architectural decking concealed fixings is a hidden fixing system and supplied uv sealed. Designed for multiple benefits over real timber achieving an architectural seamless look , low maintenance and retaining the natural timber look & feel. A proven time tested in Australia since 2010 which is ideal for residential, commercial and nearby marine environment. BioDeck complies in C1.10 of the 2019 NCC, Building Code of Australia (BCA). In accordance AS ISO 9239.1-2003 reaction to fire test , BioDeck average critical radiant flux is rated as 10.2 kW m/2.
BioDeck can be installed on Type A construction of class of building 2 to 9. BioDeck premium range also meets the requirement for bushfire-resisting timber and is deemed to be acceptable to withstand exposure up to a BAL-29 condition, as specified in AS 3959:2009 Construction of Buildings in bushfire-prone area Appendix F.
BioDeck is a proven time tested in Australia & International harsh climate conditions and renowned for its longest uv lasting performance(please refer to accelerated weather testing report pdf below). BioDeck being less than 0.05% water absorption has no adverse effect on chlorine pools or nearby marine environment.
BioDeck once applied with Ultragrip with Intergrain Ultradeck uv sealed or the sanded embossed finished slip resistance rating is R11 & classification W. BioDeck being homogenous right through does not bleach , can be resanded and resealed which makes it even more natural timber look and feel once sanded if required.
