Biowood is categorized as a natural product . It is expected to have colour and grain variation from different batches.

It is therefore recommended that all the boards be sourced from the same production batch but if there are still variations within the batch, ensure that the material is mixed prior to installation. Biowood is also subject to natural variation in finish as part of the manufacturing process. The purchaser or installer/builder is responsible for inspecting the material prior to installation in terms of colour, finish and size of the product, to identify whether the product has any defect or manufacturing fault and for ensure the product meets the surface appearance and product specification required. Subject to the terms of the Biowood Material Warranty, Biowood is not liable for claims made after the installation of the product that related surface appearance or product specification.

Biowood outdoor application are uv sealed with Bioseal to protect the original colour surface from UV exposure. For facades application dependent on the orientation of the sun it is expected to have 5% colour reduction within 3 to 5 years with two coats application on northern orientation. For decking application, it is expected 2 to 3 years uv life expectancy due to wear and tear factor. Biowood does not split , crack or rot
